The TEACH through Love 8-week intensive course will transform your relationship with children.

Spring 2021

Details:

• Time: Sundays for eight weeks. Morning sessions from 10:00am to 11:30am, breaks from 11:30am to 1:30pm, and afternoon sessions from 1:30pm to 3:00pm.
  Dates: March 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
  – Spring Break April 4th –
  April 11th, 18th, 25th
  May 2nd
• Facilitated by Emily McCrea Visionary/Founder/Director of Downtown Community School Inc and creator of Rebel Shift Childhood.
• Each live class is intimate and transformative. The content includes: lectures, workbook, open-forum conversation, role-play, handouts, and personal reflection.
• This is an 8-week commitment; classes are Sunday’s for 3 hours, broken up into morning and afternoon sessions (24 hours of instruction)
• Offered over Zoom.
• These classes will not be recorded; participants must be present.
• $595 per person, partial scholarships are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

• We will shift from rewards and punishments to cooperation and respect.
• What it means to apply the latest brain science to the first 7 years of life.
• We will learn about how healthy attachment creates sustainable relationships.
• We will learn how to interpret behavior as communication of underlying needs and feelings.
• How to repair hurts and move forward with a stress history.
• Discover how our stories affect our ability to balance guidance & boundaries.
• We will develop our self-awareness so that we can increase our window of tolerance and build authentic relationships.
